We have been waiting for a few months for this day! This is to be our time together to catch up, to sight-see, to reminisce, to laugh and to carry on enjoying our friendship just like we did back in high school. My friend has never been this far west and I am excited to be the one that gets to introduce her to this mountain and city lifestyle.
With a late morning arrival time, that meant we had a large part of the day to begin enjoying our time together. Just a short drive down the road and there we have the perfect place to stroll on this late summer day. Prince's Island! We walked for a couple of hours taking it all in.
Back home, we sipped our wine on my deck and the reminiscing began. Welcome to Calgary! I am so excited you are here!
