Can't Snowshoe! Then Run!

Here we go again! Oh no we don't! The body doesn't have a cold but the forecast does! So what does one do when it's too cold to snowshoe! Well, run, of course! Instead of moving at a slow pace for 10km in the mountains, I choose to move at a quicker pace for the 8km Crowchild Loop around the river. That distance was perfect for today's weather of sunshine and -28 degrees Celsius. The pathway was clear and for most of the 8km I was able to find clear dry pavement to run on. Even though it was bitterly cold, it was quite pretty. The scenery never ceases to amaze me.
This run was exactly what the doctor ordered, my cabin fever has cleared for the time being.

Now I can relax inside where it's cozy and warm.
