Nose Hill Wildflowers July 19, 2019

"What am I waiting for?" is what I said to myself this morning when I took a second and realized it's past mid July and wildflower season is in full swing!  "What am I waiting for?" is what I said to myself when the forecast said there will be snow falling in the mountains.  I don't know what I was waiting for so it made no sense to continue waiting.  The wait is over, this morning I headed up to Nose Hill to witness a mind blowing wildflower experience!  I spent three hours hiking those Hills and only covered ten kilometers.  Yet, I came away with the best ever hiking experience I had up there! Just wait until you see the variety of wildflowers that I saw!
The ground cover was green and that cover was covered in colors of all spectrums of the rainbow.
I took many paths which lead me all over Nose Hill's creation.
The trails were lined with flowers and I felt like royalty being welcomed.
But just wait until you see the variety of wildflowers that I saw!
Along the way while capturing photos of the flowers, other things caught my attention.
It was the first time I ever saw a buggy with guys & dogs in it.
The lake was full of water and of baby ducks.
But just wait until you see the variety of wildflowers I saw!
In places the wildflowers were in masses.
This has to be prime time for them
It has to be a prime year too for the flowers.
But just wait until you see the variety of wildflowers that I saw!
O.K. You have waited long enough!
There were still a few other types that I saw but the photos were not good.
Everywehre I looked, here a flower, there a flower!
Everywhere a flower flower!
This was the route I took today and the wildflowers were in abundance the entire loop.
