Black Point Nova Scotia settling in

This day seemed like it would never get here. I was looking forward to it but I was anxious.  I didn't know what emotions I would feel. I still don't know how to describe what I am feeling.  I know I need to be here and I am here and that is all that matters at this moment in time.  I am settling in which is so very easy to do.   "Home" has a way of making it be that way.

After watching the sun rise, then taking care of morning and early afternoon rituals, we then aimed for The Point.  I had never been before.  We were offered a different perspective of the lay of the land. Feeling the ocean breeze and smelling the salty air, I took deep breath, after deep breath after deep breath.

I felt like I had the best of both worlds here.  I stood by the Inukshuk and watched a boat go by.  As I associate the rock structures with my westerly mountains, I will dub this photograph, "where the ocean greets the mountain".

                     This looks like a smaller stone but is actually a gigantic boulder.

                                                           We saw four today.

                                   I am settling in. It feels right and it feels natural.
