This morning was the first time I ran with shorts on this year! Now that's worth mentioning! My thighs were red when I got home, but I didn't care, after all it is May. I was out shortly after the sun came up. I wanted to get my run over with so I could get on with my day.
By getting on with my day, I mean getting down to the river to go for my first bike ride of the year. It's about time, after all it is May. I like having a hatchback, it makes all the difference in the world getting my bike in and out. I didn't even have to take the front wheel off. Now I will be more motivated to start my rides in other parts of the city instead of from my front door all the time.I rode 22km. That's enough for the first time. I don't want to be sore heading away on vacation.
I found a nice sunny spot in a park by the river to dine.
I had my favourite salad!
rotini noodles, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, monteray jack cheese and strawberries with a sprinkle of Italian dressing
I'm looking forward to lots of biking this summer!
