I'm so proud of my best friend from university days at "X"! At that time, she was a runner, something at the time, I thought was crazy and never aspired to. She competed in short distance races around the world and always placed near the top. She finished her university education in the US where she attended on a scholarship to run for the university track team. Her competing days are long over but she still runs regularly for fitness and pleasure.
Later on in life, she became adventurous and added hiking to her interests. This was something at the time, I thought was crazy and never aspired to. She has travelled to many places in North and South America to hike and climb mountains and has made it to the top of many.
Her most recent accomplishment is summiting Mount Kilimanjaro. Here she is on the top! I'm so proud of her!
