It'S normal. It's character builder and really the pace is not important as long as you do the distance. It's just a training run not the marathon day!Soniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15766375122022031029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8678282004604269023.post-40178987533307277942009-05-04T18:42:00.000-06:002009-05-04T18:42:00.000-06:00It's not unusual to have a poor training run so do...It's not unusual to have a poor training run so don't let it discourage you, some days are just tough. And keep in mind that you are probably somewhat fatigued due to (other) training runs, hiking, etc. On the day of the actual race you ought to feel a lot better after a decent taper, giving your legs a chance to rest.Berthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15778952998119649949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8678282004604269023.post-51856652043194733822009-05-03T22:54:00.000-06:002009-05-03T22:54:00.000-06:00Sorry to hear that the run wasn't all that you had...Sorry to hear that the run wasn't all that you had hoped for. Better to get the crappy run out of the way well before race day though! Besides, the bad runs help us appreciate the really good ones so much more. We all have runs like that! The important thing is that you completed the distance and you have an experience that will make you grit your teeth with determination when you get to THE big day! It's the hard runs that make you perform well in the end!

Well done.Rachel Jayne Stevenson/Rogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13982675260605974639noreply@blogger.com
